Worm Castings

Worm castings (vermicast) are the perfect addition to your garden. It works quickly and does not have an odor. It is chemical-free and ready to go.

Castings can be used in a couple of ways;

• mix a handful of castings with 10 liters of water. Pour the liquid into a stocking and squeeze the juice out. You can use a bucket or a watering can. Apply the liquid to your gardens.
• When adding new plants or seedlings to your gardens. Place a small handful either in the hole or around the plant. This will give your plants a boost and hold moisture to your plant.
• Add a couple of handfuls of worm castings to a 10-litre bucket when rejuvenating pot plants. Add this slurry to tired dirt and watch your plants absorb the rich slurry.
• You can sprinkle castings through your garden beds and give it a good hose.

Worm casting gives good bacteria back to your root system This will keep bad bacteria out which produces healthy soils again.

It is a natural fertilizer.

Worm castings may contain worm eggs and or baby worms.
